# Build what trades

We are a small team building autonomous systems that operate in adversarial markets. If you think in asyncio, Kelly fractions, and market microstructure, we want to hear from you.

## Open Roles

### Engineering

#### Agent Systems Engineer

**Remote**
Design and build autonomous trading agents — async orchestration, real-time data feeds, and deterministic execution pipelines.

**Stack:** Python, asyncio, WebSockets, aiohttp
You will own the runtime that powers every trade Vequil makes. This means building event-driven agent loops that ingest live market data, coordinate multi-agent debate, and submit orders with sub-second latency.

### Research

#### Quantitative Researcher

**Remote**
Develop signal models, walk-forward backtesting frameworks, and risk controls for prediction market arbitrage.

**Background:** Statistics, stochastic calculus, market microstructure
You will design the quantitative models that determine when and how much to trade. Your work directly shapes the edge our agents exploit in prediction markets.

### Infrastructure

#### Systems Reliability Engineer

**Remote**
Own the reliability and operational health of the live trading daemon — process supervision, observability, deployment, and incident response.

**Stack:** Python, Docker, Linux process management, SQLite, monitoring tooling
The system runs continuously and must not miss a tick. You will build the scaffolding that keeps every agent alive, surfaces failures fast, and makes deployments routine — so the trading loop never stops.
